Idea Development Process Idea sketches and thumbnail sketches Water down paint for first layer + sketch Used more paint to depict lighting and color contrast of cool blue and warm yellow Inspired by the memory ball from Inside Out movie Used a digital sketch to plan out the foreground Design elements: contrast (color, light and dark) Revision: crystal ball to a cup reflecting myself back Final revision: glued real red string for dramatic effect Revision: changed facial expression and added red string (red string theory)
